On Display - Sin Labs

Today's trip to statue land takes a decided turn to Cyberpunk, with a visit to Sin Labs.  Although the area isn't a traditional statue location, it is one of the most popular areas for display as a statue in Second Life.  Additionally, it has plenty of visitors, a lot of different plinths & display options, and I have to admit, a whole lot more!...

When arrives at Sin Labs, you'll end up on the central landing area, a circular area (a seen above) surrounded with modern looking, neon blue displays (for the most part - but more on that in a moment).  Each direction leads to a destination, but each arm extending out has a number of displays to mount.

On display with Miss Jodi Doll (in right, in the pink), Miss Neko Doll (front, holding the sign),
Miss Sunny D (mounted above), and myself, on the left)

Before you "hop on" a display, however, you'll need to join the Sin Labs group - not a problem, as there are plenty of signs to do this about the sim.  If you click on the sign that says "so you want to be a statue" (found easily enough), it'll give you everything you need to know to be put on display.

Miss Steph Quicksand, who was locked as a statue until November 15
(I estimate about a two week stay since I first saw her on display - you go girl!)

When you look at a stand, some will say "available", but others will have a name on them.  These are reserved for the ... longer term statues at Sin Labs.  The dedicated ladies who are focused enough to indulge in this have their own locations (many of which are really nice locations and displays).

A beautiful display of Miss Stone Angel....

... an another of Miss Susie Mystiere, in a more gargoyle-like pose

However, there is plenty to do beyond being on display, if your virtual joints get a bit tired *smiles*.  There are two club located on the sim - one of which is the Club Circe, as shown below...

... which has regular themed dances (on Saturdays, I believe).  One important thing to mention is the the Club Circe Bar, which also provides a lot of information about the sim.  If you have any questions about sim, RLV, additional rules, and even details about transformation options, and a tidbit about eventually becoming a long term statue.  They are easily found on the top of the bar, ready for reading (while you wait... as a statue)!

The second location is a bit more formal- I believe its the main Sin Labs venue.  They hold events every Wednesday, at 12:30 SLT, (unfortunately due to RL, I have no chance of attending these).  But a peek inside shows an amazing Cyberpunk venue, along with a fantastically minimalisic dance floor.

Additionally, you can see a listing of top statues and dolls at Sin Labs.  No times are listed, but as opposed to other "capture" options in SL (such as Prisoners of SL, which while interesting, isolates a person vice putting them on display), it doesn't display how long a person has been on display.  However, you can figure out the top statues by their plinths, I would guess.

Don't forget to check the mail!

Another key part of Sin Labs, are the ton of stores on its premises.  There are plenty of restraints to explore, from the Doll Store, Transformation booths, Designer clothes, unique furniture and vehicles, and well.. things that go beyond description!

Time to mount myself back on my preferred display (I look a bit like a car ornament, but I can't complain about that)!  Sin Labs is an excellent venue to be placed "On Display" - plenty of traffic (I've been slapped on the rear a few times *smiles*), plinths, ride-able bike girls (and a track to race on), and really much, much more!   I highly recommend Sin Labs, and if you have yet to pay it a visit, by all means do so, at: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Circe/124/203/508
